In his book, Love Is The Greatest, George Sweeting states, “Love is optimistic; it looks at people in the best light. Love thinks constructively as it senses the grand possibilities in other people. What a delightful condition to live in! How invigorating it would be to step into the brightness of this kind of love, even for a few minutes.” The good news is that we can live in this kind of love each and every day, by accepting God’s grace. This optimistic love is the foundation for the joy that we experience during our time of fellowship. When we know we are accepted and loved by people who possess an optimistic attitude concerning our spiritual growth, we become open to the possibilities God has for us, and we look forward to attending Church services. God’s church is filled with many wonderful possibilities for sharing God’s Love with people who are in need. With a great sense of joy we can all look forward to sharing an optimistic spirit with all people.
